Pumpkin Patch

Fall and Halloween are upon us! Finally!! I love this time of year! I love the temperature, I love the way the mountains look, and I love the smells of fall, and being able to cuddle into a hoodie or a blanket.
This year was the first year we have ever took Porter to a pumpkin patch. His first Halloween he was only 4 months old, and with his first 2 months being on oxygen and all that fun stuff we didn't get out much because I didn't want a sick baby. Then last year we just got our pumpkins at the store. Well no more store bought pumpkins. Not only are they expensive but you don't get a wide variety to pick from.
We went to Jaker's in Springville. They have it all, they have a small petting zoo, 2 hay mazes, and a kernel pit, and wagon rides, and you have tons, and tons, and tons of pumpkins to pick from.
It was great, the weather was perfect, hoodie weather (I love), and not a lot of people at all. Porter was a little shy around the animals at first, they had a kangaroo, a mama goat and 2 babies, a sheep, a llama, and 3 miniature donkeys. Then we went into the big maze, and watched the other kids play in the kernel pit, he wasn't having any of that, and then we went and picked out our pumpkins.
It was great little outing for our little family. And then we went to dinner, and stopped by Grandma and Grandpa's for a minute. Very good night!
